Italian Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- 2-3 minced garlic
- Minced parsley
- Italian spice about 1-2 tbsps
- 1 egg
- Pepper and salt ( heavier on the salt)

- Cook: about 15 min.

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.

Once thoroughly mixed form into small balls in your hands.

In a large deep frying pan, melt butter and olive oil.

Once butter is melted and bubbling, add as many meatballs as possible. You want the outside quite dark.

When they are cooked on all sides. Remove from oil and place on a plate lined with a paper towel and sprinkle with a little salt.

These can be frozen or eaten right away. I always eat a few as I’m cooking. Great with pasta, as a side or even soaked in the pasta sauce.
