We’re grateful to announce that we’ve booked Dr. Chantal von Schoenberg to speak at an upcoming Global Ataxia Support Group meeting. Read below for more details!

Dr. Chantal von Schoenberg is a Registered Physiotherapist and Doctor of Physical Therapy at Action Potential Rehabilitation in the Ottawa area.

Chantal’s areas of specialty are traumatic bring injury (TBI), concussions, spinal cord injuries, and chronic pain.

She has nearly 20 years of experience with adult/pediatric neurology, and in working with those with complex rehabilitation needs. She got her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2009

Chantal is a clinical supervisor for the University of Ottawa Physiotherapy Program, a professor in the physiotherapy assistant program at Algonquin College, and a researcher with the University of Carleton in the Innovative Technology department.

She’s also lived and worked in developing countries working with Handicap International and the International Red Cross.

This is sure to be another great speaker session!

After we talk to Dr. von Schoenberg, we’ll continue on with our regular support meeting.
